The Roman family tomb has the most interesting and impressive interior of all Roman tombs found so far in Bulgaria. It consists of a vaulted staircase and a burial chamber. The walls of her camera are painted in floral ornaments, and the floor has a colourful mosaic panel in geometric ornament. In one of the niches is preserved an original mural painting of roses, which is one of the earliest images of roses in today’s Bulgarian lands. Two grave beds built in the chamber indicate that the tomb was a family one. The results of archaeological studies determine its construction in the second half of the 4^th century.
